The Local Beacon was formed after observing a continuing need to accelerate collaboration in our communities to boost our local economy, offer the best to our children and highlight all of the great service organizations on main street. We facilitate STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) Programs including after school and online courses for students looking to broaden their STEM skills. We strive to offer an extension of curriculum that is typically not offered by public schools. Programs are built and scheduled specifically for elementary, middle school and high school levels.
